Dark Skies
Join astronomers from the Lime Tree Observatory and Planetarium for a light-hearted investigation into the most famous star of the festive season. The Star of Bethlehem is a presentation looking at the numerous possibilities of what the phenomenon might have been.
This show will make up half of the evening, with telescope observing time for the other half if the weather is good, and more planetarium fun if it’s not so good.
As usual, we will have refreshments for half-time, including mince pies and mulled wine. It’s a lovely way to wind down to the festive period.
These are family friendly events, although the content is probably not suitable for children under the age of 10.
