Nidderdale National Landscape Management Plan Consultation

This consultation has now closed.

During August and September 2025, we consulted on the draft 2025-2030 Nidderdale National Landscape Management Plan. This is the plan for the Nidderdale National Landscape Partnership and team, partner organisations, farmers and landowners, communities and businesses. The purpose is to set out how we all can contribute towards the conservation and enhancement of natural beauty in this special area. The new draft plan has been developed by the National Landscape team with input from a wide range of partners.

We are grateful for all of the feedback on the new draft plan. The consultation closed at midday on Wednesday 1 October.

A Strategic Environment Assessment screening report and a Habitats Regulations Assessment screening report have also been produced as part of the Management Plan review process.

Following this public consultation, a finalised version the Management Plan will be published later in the year.
