This walk follows bridleways and footpaths through parkland. The terrain is fairly easy walking and mostly flat. There are a variety of different paths and routes which have been clearly waymarked so you can decide which route and direction to take. The route is not accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs and mobility vehicles, as it includes steps and some rough terrain. A mix of dirt and grassy paths, some uneven, with some stony sections and steps up and down. The paths can get muddy during wet weather and some sections are close to the river.
