A wonderful, accessible riverside walk along the River Nidd from Pateley Bridge to Glasshouses, enabling everyone to enjoy the history and natural beauty of this picturesque part of Nidderdale.

The majority of this route is flat and there are regular rest points to take in the beautiful scenery. A circular route can be completed on quiet roads and a cycle path on the opposite side of the river.

The majority of the route is flat, with some slopes down to the riverside in Pateley Bridge. There is a slight camber on the path leading away from Harefield Hall, where flooding has led to path erosion. There are regular rest points to pause and take in the beautiful scenery. A circuit can be completed on quiet roads and a cycle path on the opposite side of the river.

Dog Walking Dog Walking
Please be a responsible dog owner. Keep your dog on a lead at all times, especially around livestock and on the moor, where there are ground nesting birds. From March to July, use a short lead. Remember to clean up after your dog.
