Alongthis route you can enjoy a range of different settings, from the quiet serenity of the woods at Middle Tongue Bank to the heather moorland and blanket bog of Nought Moor, and take in spectacular views across Guisecliffe and Yorke’s Folly.

Is This Right For You Is This Right For You?
This route includes tarmac roads, woodland paths, fields, and moorland tracks. Parts of the trail are uneven with some sections being steep inclines/declines. Gates and stiles feature throughout the walk. Walking boots are advisable as some parts of the trail can be wet, muddy and rough underfoot. This is an exposed area where the weather can quickly change, so waterproofs and appropriate warm layers are also recommended.

Please be a responsible dog owner. Keep your dog on a lead at all times, especially around livestock and on the moor, where there are ground nesting birds. From March to July, use a short lead. Remember to clean up after your dog.
